Dogs are not only our friends; they even go beyond that. They are often very loyal to all their family members, especially to the younger ones. One such dog is this English mastiff named Gordon.

Gordon chose to be a guard for his human sister. It turned out that he always accompanies his human sister to the bus. Gordon’s mother saw what Gordon did and took a video. What the video shows is very amusing, and it will surely make anyone smile.

It seems like Gordon takes his responsibilities and duties seriously. He accompanies his sister despite the cold weather. He patiently sat near his human sister while she and her friend were waiting for the bus to arrive. He would also watch intently as his sister and her friend boarded the school bus.

Gordon would wait until the bus doors were shut before turning around to return inside the house for warmth. He even looked very proud of himself as he went inside. He was also wagging his tail, knowing that he did an excellent job protecting his human sister.

English mastiffs are large dogs, and they can be as heavy as 240 pounds. Surely, no one would want to mess with Gordon’s little sister, especially with him around. What’s more, this is not the only instance that dogs are proven to be protective of their human siblings.

There was a German shepherd named Rosey who stopped a man from kidnapping her ten-year-old sister. Her sister was walking her in broad daylight when the incident happened. When the man grabbed her sister’s arm, Rosey quickly bit the man’s arm, causing the perpetrator to run away immediately. Rosey’s sister was safe, and the dog stayed by her side.

Dogs are truly adorable creatures. They can be so friendly and playful, but once their loved ones are in danger, they can be very protective. They are indeed a total package!
